THORN Cast List

THORN is a specialized division of the Blackthorn City Police Department. Its members are highly trained and specially appointed by the division's captain, Brandon Wolf.

Brandon P. Wolf
Title: Captain

THORN: Captain
Brandon is the commanding officer for THORN. It is his duty to oversee all of the activities enacted by the officers in his command. He is trustworthy and loyal. His devotion to his work is second only to his devotion to his team.

There is insufficient work to have any officer assigned exclusively to a specialized unit. As such, THORN consists of five specialists who are drawn from the other branches within the police department.

Joseph Boreas
Title: Special Detective
Desk: VICE
THORN: Heavy Assault
Huskies are tough and as brave as they come. Joe will never back down under fire and his extreme determination and endurance have proven themselves time and again. As a VICE detective, Joe has seen his share of horror stories, but none stick with him like those of children. Though usually cheerful and even a bit perverse, he is frequently haunted by the memories of those he could not save.

Iris Forester
Title: Special Detective
Desk: Technical Services
THORN: Communications Officer
Iris served in the United States Air Force where she was trained as a communications specialist. She coordinates the team's movements and provides vital data on the fly. She takes her work very seriously and is proud to be of continued service.

Elwood Grant
Title: Special Investigator
Desk: Arson
THORN: Demolitions Expert
Elwood came from Australia to marry his darling Julia. When she was burned alive in her car, he refused to write it off as an accident. With the help of his good friend, Vincent, he was able to prove his suspicions and put the one responsible where he belonged: behind bars. Though Elwood is blessed with immense physical strength, above average for even cats of his size, he exhibits exceptional self control. It should also be noted that he exhibits slight pyro-maniacal tendencies, though they are always kept in check by a strong sense of duty.  

Vincent Valerian
Title: Special Investigator

THORN: Light Assault / Electronics Specialist
In the past, Vincent was a skilled thief. Today he puts his skills to work recovering stolen goods and explaining just how they went missing to begin with. His criminal past puts others on edge, and with good reason. Jackals are notoriously ruthless and Vincent is no different.

Sasha Wolf
Title: Special Detective
Desk: Homicide
THORN: Medical Officer
Sasha was a paramedic assigned to the unit before an official medical officer was appointed. She was also a medical student, until certain events were set in motion which would change her life forever. She puts her knowledge of chemistry and physiology to work solving murder cases, something she finds repulsive, yet strangely intriguing.
